Abstract

The theoretical study is devoted to the development of an approach to the evaluation of the Volgograd urban planning system, where the key role is assigned to the objects of the green frame structure in the context of aesthetic perception. Green frame objects in urban planning combine pragmatism and aesthetics, evolving from artistic works to functional elements, and then to the need to balance these aspects. The aesthetics of the urban planning system, depending on the cultural context, forms the artistic style of garden and park facilities. The analysis of the aesthetics of open space helps to understand the impact of cultural and historical ties on citizens, which is important for modern aesthetics and video ecology. The theory of aesthetic and visual assessment of the green framework is especially relevant for riverine cities, where strategies for developing visual representations are important. Therefore, in the context of globalization and consolidation of urban planning systems, the importance of objects of the green framework structure for the formation of the visual environment and territorial identity is emphasized. All this makes it possible to achieve sustainable development of the urban planning system by integrating nature and maintaining a balance between building and open areas.
