“A 40-YEAR-LONG CREATIVE WAY”: A CONVERSATION WITH AN ACADEMICIAN OF THE RAACS ALEXEY VLADIMIROVICH ANTYUFEEV

Abstract

Interview with the head of the Department of Urbanistics and Theory of Architecture of the Volgograd State Technical University, Professor Alexey Vladimirovich Antyufeev. He is a well-known architect-urban planner, author and manager of many projects in Volgograd, the region and the South- ern Federal District. His research interests include spatial development of urban planning systems and, in particular, linear planning structures. Among the most significant urban planning works of A. V. Antyufeev is the General Plan of Volgograd, the project of updating the General Plan of Volgograd, the rules of land use and development of Volgograd, territorial planning schemes of munic- ipal districts, general plans of municipal formations of the Southern Federal District, planning projects for residential districts and microdistricts, planning projects for the development of transport and engineering infrastructure of Volgograd, project documentation for the protection of cultural heritage ob- jects of federal and regional significance. Renovation projects of former indus- trial territories are of particular importance. The conversation took place in November 2022. RAASN Academician A. V.
