The importance of preserving the historical memory of the war and post-war years from the point of view of architectural heritage is noted. The influence of military actions on the social perception of the surrounding reality is indicated. Historical aspects of the martial law in the Krasnodar territory in 1942-1943 are revealed. The situation in the area of the town of Goryachy Klyuch and Bolshoy p. Krasnaya Polyana in Sochi is described. Individual restored objects of architectural heritage of Krasnodar are presented. Attention is drawn to the prevention of similar tragedies of the past.
