Abstract

Techniques for creating optimal eco-friendly, resource-saving, and visually aesthetic landscaping schemes for decorative roadside lanes on highways are considered. The article analyzes the domestic and foreign experience of planting green spaces, including fruit trees and berry bushes, both in large cities and along the main highways connecting settlements. Only those breeds and plant species that are noise-canceling, protect and clean the environment from the exhaust gases of moving vehicles, and are also capable of delaying dust and sand storms and snow drifts are recommended. Planting low-growing berry bushes, such as currants and rosehips, creates an aesthetic appearance, and their resistance to various weather conditions minimizes their care. The study plays an important role in understanding the importance of greening roadside lanes in steppe, semi-desert and desert-type regions, as well as in extreme climate conditions where hot weather in summer and cold, icy winters prevent trees from growing and creating a natural protective barrier. By choosing plants correctly, it is possible to purify the soil from impurities of heavy metals such as lead, zinc and copper, to absorb phenols, fluorine and sulfur.
