This article proposes a way to conceptualize the category of architectural time. The concept of architectural time is paired with the category of architectural space, which, understandably, has been extensively explored in the scientific literature. Architectural space is enduring and consists of architectural objects of varying ages. They are subject to constant interpretation by social actors of the socially significant information embedded within them. The implementation of urban planning solutions and the formation of the architectural space of a modern city, aimed at creating a comfortable environment for residents, are impossible without an analysis of the concept of "architectural time." The most important theoretical sources for its content are the concepts of chronotope, social memory, and archetype. At the same time, processes such as the preservation and modernization of the urban and architectural environment, aimed at reflecting them in metropolitan and provincial forms, must be considered.
