An interview with Professor Aleksey Vladimirovich Antyufeev, Head of the Department of Urban Studies and Architectural Theory at Volgograd State Technical University. He is a renowned architect and urban planner, the author and manager of numerous projects in Volgograd, the region, and the Southern Federal District. His research interests include the spatial planning development of urban planning systems, particularly linear planning structures. Among A.V. Antyufeev's most significant urban planning works are the Volgograd Master Plan, the Volgograd Master Plan update project, land use and development regulations for Volgograd, territorial planning schemes for municipal districts, master plans for municipalities in the Southern Federal District, planning projects for residential districts and microdistricts, planning projects for the development of Volgograd's transport and engineering infrastructure, and design documentation for the protection of cultural heritage sites of federal and regional significance. Of particular importance are renovation projects for former industrial sites. The conversation took place in November 2022.
